  • Autism Center Lauded by National Council

UCSB'S Autism Research and Training Center has been cited by the National Research Council (NRC) as one of the 10 most effective autism intervention programs in the country. The center was lauded in a study, titled "Educating Children with Autism," authored by the NRC's Behavioral and Social Sciences Education Committee.
Robert Koegel, director, and Lynn Koegel, clinical services director, lead the autism center, which is based in the Gevirtz Graduate School of Education.
