  • CCS to Graduate 66

Sixty-six students are scheduled to graduate from the College of Creative Studies on June 9 at 1 p.m. in Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall. CCS traditionally initiates the commencement ritual at UCSB, with other, larger divisions holding their ceremonies the following weekend.
Armand Kuris, acting provost, will introduce Steve R. White, an IBM senior manager and CCS graduate in physics ('73), who will present the keynote speech. White is the creator of a low-cost software to prevent computer piracy.
A reception in the CCS Gallery will follow the commencement ceremony.
