Beach walks during
lunch time are back in fashion as employees discover what students
residing along the east bluffs of campus have known for some time--the
stairwell has been reconstructed. Weakened by erosion and damaged
by storms, the stairwell connecting Parking Lot 6 to the beach
below Anacapa and Santa Cruz residence halls was closed for months.
With view platforms and sturdy bracing, this version promises
to be better than ever.
