  • Integrated Chip Project Gets $3.5 Million Grand

    A team of five UCSB researchers has been awarded a four-year, $3.5 million grant by the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency to investigate how to pipe digital and analog information through a photonic circuit on a single compound semiconductor chip.
    Principal investigator for the grant is Daniel Blumenthal, professor of electrical and computer engineering, who is also associate director of the Multidisciplinary Optical Switching Technology Center.
