The
University of California Santa Barbara seeks to be a good neighbor
in the local community. The Office of Governmental Relations works
closely with local elected officials and community organizations
to strengthen relationships between the campus and the greater community.
The local focus includes the City of Goleta, the City of Santa Barbara
and the County of Santa Barbara, in particular Isla Vista. Our office
is also a point of contact for external inquiries.
